It is absolutely thrilled for School of Management! When SMXMU meet PRME from UN, a new chapter of SMXMU internationalisation opens. The goal of School’s Internationalisation is carried forward through its intensive global network. As an institution of higher education involved in the development of current and future managers, School of Management Xiamen University is committed to implementing the Principles for Responsible Management Education—starting with those that are more relevant to our capacities and mission, report on progress to all our stakeholders, and exchange effective practices related to these Principles with other academic institutions.
Cooperation are not chosen by chance, but according to the passions that dominate us. In a world that faces profound changes of a kind unseen at present, business and management schools as well as management and leadership development institutions are among the most influential actors in the world, as they shape the skills and mindset of future leaders. Here the engagement of PRME brings SMXMU to a higher level development.

SMXMU hopes to attract prospective students to an existing network of over 3 million sustainably-minded peers and faculty;
SMXMU hopes to mark with the PRME Logo and UN-associated brand, as well as to explore digital assets on the PRME Social Media Toolkit. With the platform of PRME, it will attract more partners and extend to make win-win cooperation;
SMXMU hopes to gain the opportunity to take a leadership role in PRME Chapters & Working Groups. As countries with the largest number of business schools, PRME has plenty of resources to promote closer school-to-school ties;
SMXMU hopes to strengthen coordination and to be featured in PRME global communications. It is ready to enhance communication and collaboration with United Nations (UN). Working together, it will promote our shared interests, development and prosperity.
Looking forward to next five years, SMXMU has upgraded its vision statement with Rooted in China, to become a world-class internationalised business school. There is undergoing a global movement transforming business and management education through research and leadership. SMXMU understands that its own organizational practices should serve as example of the values and attitudes it convey to our students. Furthermore it encourages other academic institutions and associations to adopt and support these Principles.
