Focusing on the discipline construction of the college and the promotion of the development planning tasks of the 14th five year plan, The School of Management and The Institute for Financial and Accounting Study held a summer work retreat in Xiang'an District, Xiamen from August 25 to 27. Leading groups of colleges and research institutes, directors of departments / centers, and heads of some administrative departments attended the meeting. Li Jianfa, executive deputy secretary of the UCPC Party committee and President of the school of management, attended the meeting and made a report. The meeting was presided over by Qiu Qixing, Secretary of the Party committee of the school of management.
During the meeting, Professor Wu chaopeng, executive vice president, made a report on "Analysis of discipline development trend and refinement of the objectives of the 14th five year plan". He analyzed in detail the development status, objectives, requirements, efforts, work priorities and existing problems of the college during the 14th Five Year Plan period from three aspects: the road of talent training, the construction of teaching staff and the level of scientific research, so as to find out the target gap and point out the way forward for the further development and construction of the college. Vice presidents Yu Lisheng, Bai Yuntao and Miao Chaowei made special reports respectively. Taking their respective work fields as the content of the report and focusing on the refinement of the objectives of the 14th five year plan, they discussed the reform of undergraduate and graduate teaching and training, the improvement of scientific research level, the construction of talent team, the standardization of non-academic education and the construction of internationalization.
The person in charge of all departments and centers of the college made speeches on the theme of "Focusing on discipline development, refining discipline direction and forming talent team". The participants also actively offered suggestions on the subjects of discipline construction, the 14th five year plan of the college, the reform and development of the college.
The summer retreat defined the development direction of the college's work in the future, effectively transformed the conference results into a force to promote the work, laid a solid foundation for further implementing the "14th five year plan" and steadily promoting the reform and development of the college. All teaching and scientific research institutions will also take this opportunity to further refine the discipline direction, to build a talent team, to jointly promote the "double first-class" construction of the college, and to contribute to the high-quality connotative development of the college.
