Willamette University, founded in 1842, is a private school. The University, with about 2000 undergraduates, is located in Salem, the capital of Oregon. It is the oldest university in the western United States. Its law school is the oldest law school on the northwest coast of the Pacific Ocean. Its school of management is the only two MBA program colleges in the world that have obtained certification in business administration and public affairs management at the same time. The University encourages overseas exchanges, and more than half of the students have overseas study experience. Its famous alumni include Dale T. Mortensen, the winner of the 2010 Nobel Prize in economics, and James Albaugh, former global vice president of Boeing. The intercollegiate exchange program of the university has been opened for selection, and the selection requirements of the program are hereby notified as follows:
Selection object
1. The applicant must be a sophomore or junior undergraduate officially registered in our university. Please refer to the attached project information for specific project requirements.
2. Excellent academic performance, all-round development of morality, intelligence and physique, with high comprehensive quality. When signing up, you must meet the GPA and foreign language performance requirements required by the project (GPA3.0 or above; TOEFL 83 or IELTS 6.5 or above or Duolingo multi neighbor test 105 or above).
3. The applicant must actively participate in various social practice activities, be rich in organizational ability, communication ability and sense of responsibility to serve the society, and be able to adapt to learning and life in the new environment.
4. With family's economic conditions permission, you are supposed to pay round-trip travel, living expenses during study, insurance, medical insurance and other miscellaneous expenses by yourself.
5. The project quota is one in the spring semester. Applicants who have not participated in the student exchange program are preferred.
Selection process
1. All qualified students can register at their colleges and departments. After screening, relevant colleges submit a list of recommendations to the international department. The international department does not accept individual students' direct application. Each college can recommend up to one student.
2. If the materials are incomplete, GPA or foreign language scores are unqualified, the college will reject the materials.
3. After reviewing the materials of the college, the recommended candidate list shall be submitted to the international department.. The specific time of the Comprehensive interview held by Academic Affairs Office, student office and international office will be notified to the candidates recommended by the college.

1. Application form for overseas exchange projects; (in triplicate: one original and two copies)
2. Transcript (must be sealed and indicate the professional score ranking and GPA ranking); (in triplicate, copy is enough)
3. Proof of relevant language proficiency; (one copy)

Please send the application materials and paper version to the international development and international certification office of the school of management (room 320, Jiageng No. 1), and send the scanned copy to Mr. Chen before 11:40 a.m. on September 17 kellychan19515@xmu.edu.cn. Hint
1. Intercollegiate student exchange programs are tuition free, and other expenses shall be borne by themselves. The tuition fee of our university shall be paid normally during the exchange period.
2. If there is no passport on the date of issuance of the notice, please hurry to apply for the passport.
3. The current overseas epidemic situation is still full of uncertainty. Due to the needs of epidemic prevention and control, overseas universities reserve the right to cancel / suspend offline student exchange programs or change online teaching.
