Dear students:
To support the development of international Chinese education, improving the quality of our university to build Confucius institute and level, according to a 2021 Ministry of Education of the Chinese and foreign language communication and cooperation center "international Chinese teachers volunteer projects related to fund" approach, in combination with the practical demand of build Confucius institute, now start the 2021 annual international Chinese teachers in our school volunteer projects selected work.
1. Position Information
This "International Chinese Teacher Volunteer Project" plan recruits 30 volunteers for the whole school. Be sent to Thailand luang university Confucius institute, the Confucius institute of technology university in the Middle East, Turkey, South Africa's stellenbosch university Confucius institute, Nigeria's o di JiKeWei university Confucius institute, Poland fellows wagh Confucius institute, the Confucius institute at the university of Malta, at Cardiff university in the UK Confucius institute and the university of Southampton, the Confucius institute, etc. 8 The Confucius Institute is jointly established by our university. The service term is one year, and it mainly provides international Chinese teaching for Confucius Institutes, universities where Confucius Institutes are located, local primary and secondary schools, and communities. Please refer to Attachment 1 for specific position information.
2. Qualification Requirement
2.1 Application object: full-time postgraduate students in Xiamen University.
Except for the following three types of personnel:
2.1.1 Those who are participating in the selection of international Chinese Teacher volunteer programs organized by other institutions;
2.1.2 Those who have been listed in the funding list of positions related to the International Chinese Teacher Volunteer Program;
2.1.3 Those who are still serving in the relevant posts of the International Chinese Teacher Volunteer Program.
2.2 Application condition
2.2.1 Applicant should have good political and professional quality, love the motherland, volunteer to engage in international Chinese education work, have the spirit of dedication, strong organizational discipline and team spirit, moral integrity, no criminal record;
2.2.2 Applicant should have a healthy body, with good psychological quality and adaptability;
2.2.3 Applicant should master the Knowledge of Chinese language, Chinese culture, contemporary China's national conditions and teaching theories, have good Chinese teaching practice ability, foreign language communication skills and cross-cultural communication skills, and have Chinese talent expertise;
2.2.4 Applicant should have a Certificate of Mandarin Second Class or above; Volunteers in Asia, Africa and Latin America should have achieved 425 or above CET-4 or equivalent (such as IELTS academic test 5-5.5); volunteers in Europe and America should have achieved 425 or above equivalent (such as IELTS academic test 6-6.5); When applying for positions in minor languages, applicant shall obtain relevant language grade test certificates.
2.2.5 Applicant is generally between the ages of 22 and 50. If it is really necessary for work, the age may be relaxed appropriately.
2.2.6 Applicant should meet the requirements of the specific position.

2. Application materials
2.1 Application form for Xiamen University international Chinese teacher volunteer program (Appendix 2);
2.2 Information form of applicants for Xiamen University international Chinese teacher volunteer program (Appendix 3);
2.3 Resume in English and Chinese (PDF version);
2.4 Mandarin certificate, foreign language level certificate( or examination record)(scanning copy);
2.5 Award certificate and other relevant certificates (if any) (scanning copy).
Please download the Application Form for xiamen University International Chinese Teacher Volunteer Program and fill it in the column of "Project Contacts of your employer" one by one. Print the form and sign when you are done. The applicant shall submit the paper version of the application form to the project contact of his/her employer (see Appendix 4 for details), who will assist him/her to complete the signing of the review opinions of the employer. The signed and sealed version of the application form will be submitted by the project contact person of your institution together with other recommended materials to xiamen University Chinese-Foreign Language Exchange and Cooperation Center, which is in charge of the International Chinese Teacher Volunteer Program.
3. Submission
Applicant should package the electronic version of the above specified materials and send it to the email address designated by the project contact person of the employer. At the same time, the copy should be sent to the email of Sino-Foreign Language Exchange and Cooperation Center project team (xmucia@xmu.edu.cn) for filing.
Each document shall be named as "20** volunteer application - work unit - name - document subject". Example: "2021 Volunteer Application - Technical Institute - Zhang San - Project Application Form". The subject of the email should be "20** International Chinese Teacher Volunteer Program personal application materials - name". Example: "2021 International Chinese Teacher Volunteer Program application Materials - Zhang San".
